Following the Aug. 17, 2010 lunch
at the Old Country Buffet located in Dale City,
 
 Reservations have been made at Ryan’s Buffet Restaurant in Fredericksburg for Sept 21st.

Directions: Coming off I-95,going west, you will take the first right turn at the Central Park sign. Follow this until almost the end (past Lowe’s, Best By, Office Depot, and many other stores on your right). Ryan’s is on your left in front of Wal-Mart. Ryan’s is located at 1780 Carl U. Silver Pkwy.

DIRECTIONS: From 95 onto Route 3 West - and take the first right turn at the Central Park sign. Follow this until almost the end (past Lowe’s, Best By, Office Depot, and many other stores on your right). Ryan’s is on your left in front of Wal-Mart. Ryan’s is located at 1780 Carl U. Silver Pkwy.

DIRECTIONS: From 95 onto Prince William Pkwy and turn right at 5th traffic light into parking lot.
 

HISTORY of the GWHS GOLDEN FRIENDS LUNCHES
  It was in 1996 that Bob McKLVEEN (Class of 1946) called several of his classmates to gather for lunch at the Old Country Buffet in Fredericksburg, VA. Those classmates were Lois YOWELL Bailey, Marietta CARTER Decker, and Betty McGHEE Purvis. And the rest is history! Bob, as we have said in the past, you started a wonderful monthly gathering of classmates and friends.
    Over the past 13 years, an average of 100-140 of your schoolmates have met monthly to enjoy good food and good times on the 3rd Tue. every month alternating between Fredericksburg and Dale City  The starting time is always at 11 o’clock.
