It was in 1996
that Bob McKLVEEN '46
(who passed away September 25, 2010)
called several of his classmates
to gather for lunch at the Old Country Buffet in
Fredericksburg, VA. Those classmates were Lois YOWELL Bailey, Marietta CARTER
Decker '46, and Betty McGHEE Purvis
'46. And the rest is history! Bob, as we have said
in the past, you started a wonderful monthly gathering of classmates and
friends. Over the past 14 years, an average of 100-140 of your schoolmates have met monthly to enjoy good food and good times on the 3rd Tue. every month alternating between Fredericksburg and Dale City The starting time is always at 11 o’clock. |
