The 2009 GWAA Picnic was held on September 26, 2009
at Fort Hunt Park, Pavilion A, Alexandria, VA .
I.M.H.O, IT WAS THE BEST ONE YET! 
TO ALL OF YOU WHO MADE IT GREAT
FOREMOST, TO THE ATTENDEES, PICNIC Chairpersons (JUDY & WILDA), ACTIVITY Chairpersons (SUE & DONNA), all of the REGISTRATION Workers, SOUND Equipment (BOB), PRIZE Distributions (RAY), FOOD (American BBQ), SETUP & CLEANUP Helpers... and LAST, BUT NOT LEAST, THE WEATHER FOR COOPERATING.
A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL!!!

IMPORTANT NEWS!  ABOUT THE 2009 GWAA ROSTER BOOK
All those current (i.e. paid-up) GWAA Members who attended the picnic received their GWAA ROSTER BOOK FREE upon picnic sign-in registration. Those current GWAA Members who were not able to attend the picnic will receive their FREE copy via U.S. mail sometime in October.

Non-current (i.e. not-paid-up) GWAA members who ARE listed in the roster book may buy a copy for $5 (plus an additional $5  - IF mailing/handling IS required).

Additionally, any GWHS alumnus who is NOT a current GWAA Member AND who is NOT LISTED in the roster book but would still like to have a copy may SIMPLY complete a GWAA Membership Application and become a "new member".  For as little as $10, the cost of a 1-year membership, they will receive a FREE copy AND a discount on the picnic price.

So, if you are NOT already a GWAA member or you need to re-join,  click here for a GWAA Membership Application.  Fill it out and send it in with your dues.
