Mike is a graduate of Francis C. Hammond High School Class '59 who was also a basketball player for Hammond. Huck Thomas '47 was one of the referees of the high school games Mike played. Today, Mike is vice-president of the F.C. Hammond Alumni Association while Huck is the president of the GWHS Alumni Association; small world.
